It is NOT RECOMMENDED to delete the log files manually. As you know, they are deleted once committed to the database and then once a good backup is taken. You can dismount and delete log files and mount the system back at your will. 3. There is no setting which I am aware of that will delete the log files after 30 days. You must do this manually.
